[gameprogrammer] Wiki?

I'm thinking about adding a wiki to gameprogrammer.com. I had a bbs
there for a long time and nobody really used it. Does anyone think that
having a game programming wiki would be a good thing? What would you use
it for? What level of security would be acceptable to you all? (I was
thinking about having people register before they could use it, nothing
more troubling than joining the mailing list.)

Last but not least, which wiki software would you suggest? Right now I
am leaning toward phpWiki. It seems to have a lot of support and I can
install it with apt-get (always a big plus).
