RE: Computer problems.

I'm just wondering, now, but were you using a Voodoo 3, perhaps
overclocked? I was just messing around one day, and did this. Actually, it
was runs 143 mhz (I think) stock, and I had it running fine at 160 because
that's not too much more. Then, like I said, I was bored and came across
that idea. I overclocked the card several more times and just jumped up to
240 mhz (no idea why I did that, but funny no less) and of course my
computer just restarted because of the heat. Each time I couldn't even get
past the Windows loading screen, so I tried all sorts of solutions (didn't
want to take the video card out) for cooling (including some liquid, big
fans, etc.) which didn't work. Finally, I used a vaccuum cleaner (and
several fans) and just held it on, it worked and I could underclock it back
to 160 mhz.

I don't know why I'm telling you this; it's even off topic.
