DirectMusic

Hey-

I've been having a problem with DirectMusic.  I'm using the code from Andre 
LaMothe's book Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus and attempting 
to write wrappers functions for DirectMusic.

The problem comes when I try to get the DLS (downloadable sounds), but since 
I'm not that experienced with DirectMusic, I'm not really sure what is going 
wrong.  All I know is that the call to aquire/create the DLS fails every 
time I try to Load a MIDI file.

If anyone out there knows about DirectMusic, if something is wrong with the 
call in Tricks or if I'm supposed to do something else first, please tell me 
so.  I can provide the call I'm making, if needed.
