I think the deal is that you serve and train with them for a given amount
of time. Then you serve as researves or active for a number of years.
During that time, they will "pay" for your college education. What they
mention in finer print is that your time spent in training and in
post-training and misc-work is a "job" which earns you an hourly wage.

That wage is the "pay" they will give you for your college education. I
think the average amount is somewhere between $60,000 - $75,000. (I might
be wrong since these numbers are a bit old). But that, if you take into
account the amount of time they want you to follow-up serve, is
essentially a $20,000/year job rate pay or less. Since the amount of time
you serve afterwards is around 2years+, depending on your choice.

But they do train you, educate you in military concepts, and prepare you
for war mentally, emotionally, physically, and chemically.

Personally, I think getting a part time tech job while doing your core
requirements at a junior or city college would be better in terms of
pay/experience/education.

Unless they are teaching the soldiers about graphics art design, layout or
operating systems operation and administration in the army these days.

Doesn't FullSail and Digipen both require a strong portfolio and/or
examples of high interest and skill before allowing people admittance to
their programs? Time spent at a college and a part time job doing graphics
design will work better towards work experience, salary history, and
art/software skills than a military/naval/etc internship.

Wing.
