Sounds
like you need a lawyer to draw up some kind of work contract for all of
you. Are you doing this as a corporation or a Limited Liability
Partnership? You should. If you don't and someone decides to sue you
(for whatever reason), then they can attack your personal assets. If you
are a corp. or LLC, then they can only attack that. Two friends and I set
up a LLC just for these reasons. In our case, it cost us about $1000 to do
this, but we knew a lawyer who was wanting some computer work done, so we
bartered.
Good
Luck!

This is a little bit more behind the scenes admin
work of programming but a group of us are starting to design a piece of
software with potential commercial value. Does anyone know how to
copyright the idea/bound the group members to a bunch of
rules.....
And is that all it takes..... can i just make up
a set of rules and get all to sign them and then if anyone decides to take off
with the code/idea/whatever, we can legally hold it up against
them??????
Cheers
JC.
