AI in card games!!!

I am wondering, if you can reserve an idea, or
whatever its called, for a game, its a card game, and
my family has been playing it for years, but I have
checked everywhere, and no one sells it, and its not
on the net, so can I reserve the right to make a
computer game of it?  and if I can where,  and just
because not many people responded to my plea for help
on card game Artificial Intelligence, please read my
last message below, thanks again for any help!!!
