-- Hello! I think both languages are good for specific situations. If you plan to create a game playable for every platform, i think java is the answer; but if you want some speed and strict resource economy then a language like C++ (Visual, Builder, etc.) is the answer. However, if you learn java first than c++ or viceversa you'll find very easy to switch from one to another. Well, this what i think. I hope it helps a little bit.
