Developing Applications For Windows 2000

Hi,

I'd like to write applications for windows 2000. I'm currently working with
Visual C++ 6.0 under Win '98, is this sufficient for W2K, too, or do I need
any patches etc ?

Second, where can I find tutorials or good book about system programming for
windows 2000?
