DirextX Guide


Hi
does anybody know of any free (on-line) DirectX guide ?
I only need DirectInput, DirectPlay and DirectSound and I don't mind
if it's a pretty old version. I don't need either Direct3D or DirectDraw

because I'm using OpenGL. I have the guide from MSDN and it's pretty
stupid because it contains millions of hyperlinks but no continuous
guide
and absolutely no examples.
