yep. but also there are the newbies that think they know everything and they
are  discovering new and better things when the are just learning to walk :)
and I think it is more with the guys that just got out of school.
Also if you want to be a better programmer you need to listen and learn from
others with more experience. Not just grumble with "don't tell me nothing
I'm not the greatest but I will be and you will be sorry" :)

actually it has been my experience that programmers bicker like this all of
the time in the real world. most of them are mellow but their are the prima
donnas that think they are always right and cant admit when others are
right. actually i am dealing with one of these right now and its really
making it a difficult work place. so my advice to you as you become a full
fledged programmer is: dont forget you are on a TEAM and that is why you are
there. even if you are the hottest programmer in the company you can and
will be replaced if you forget this so remember to keep a level head.

what do you guys think?
