I recommend you download the demo and see if that works
if it does there should be no problem with the full version.
maybe that will help

Subject: open gl

hopefully you can help me.....I want to purchase the new Quake 3 game, however, it says it requires open GL which I don't think I have.  I have a Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 video card with 4MB on it.  I sent an email to Diamond but they referred me to Diamond Legacy who have ignored me so far.  I'm just trying to find out if I can play the game before I spend the money.  If not, what do I need to get for my system.  I have a P-II, MMX 233 with 64MB of RAM.

Please help, I'm really frustrated and not a computer expert.

Thanks,
