ннннннннннннннннннннн know how easy it is to subscribe/unsubscribe. And how little effort it takes to read the bottom of the email.

But the amazing thing is that some people don't remember the instructions from when they subscribed, and there are also some people that just don't bother reading the whole email to see if there's any instructions there. I work in Help Desk, believe me, these people are out there, in large numbers.

So, there are 2 sides to this problem.

1) Do we mind people posting to the list asking to be unsubscribed
2) Do we mind having a couple of lines at the top of each mail that can't be missed 

I'm not really offering a solution, just making sure that the both sides of the problem are apparent.

actually the short cut to unsubscribe takes you to the same web page I
subscribed from.
  and that page it gives (in detail) direction for subscribing and
unsubcribing.
  go ahead and try it you won't be removed automatically and it has a sorcut
to an archave of all these letters we are bandering about.
