If you are planning to program AI or 3D engines take all the physics and mathematics classes that you can!!!!!! I went to a school dedicated in teaching 2D and 3D games. We covered everything from designing a game to programming it. 90 Percent of the time we spend on either learning how to render a 3D scene or learning physics and mathematics. One thing is for sure, if I had decided to learn all this myself I would have missed a lot. Also!! I would have never gotten the job I have as a game programmer if it wasn't for the math and physics skills I aquired at school, even with all my programming background. And with the new consoles comming out( Dreamcast, PlayStation2 and Nintendo2000 ) being good at physics is a must.
